As a power couple, Swapneel and Dhvani understand the need of the hour and are driven to make a difference. With affordability and sustainability as their focal points, this founder couple embarked on their noteworthy journey of providing Solar Turnkey EPC services to industries across India in 2017 by forming a proprietorship firm under the ownership of Dhvani Patel. This firm evolved into Jupisol Power India Private Limited in 2022.
 
Coming from a technical background, both founders hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Upon completing education, they immediately gained industry exposure by working in the solar sector. Swapneel worked for two Solar Giant Multi-National Companies, SunEdison and Skypower. He worked at SunEdison for five years, initially as a Site Engineer and then as a Design Engineer. Later, he served as Design & Engineering Manager at Skypower for over six years.
 
Dhvani started her career in the industry with SunEdison as an analyst in Global Indirect Sourcing’s Supply Chain & Logistics department in Chennai, acquiring hands-on experience in solar inventory management. After pursuing a course in Solar PV Design and Installation, she ventured into providing turnkey EPC services for solar projects across India in 2017. Interestingly, this couple sets a unique example of a modern mindset and women empowerment. Their firm is an authorized channel partner of Tata Power Solar since 2020.
 

Under Dhvani’s leadership, the company has installed numerous residential solar projects under Gujarat’s subsidy policy and commissioned three industrial solar projects of around 1MWp as an independent EPC Contractor. As Dhvani drove her company into the top 10% bracket of solar EPC providers in Gujarat, Swapneel Patel brought a wealth of experience to Jupisol Power India Pvt. Ltd., gained through his extensive career in the solar industry.

His contributions began with the 25MW project at Charankha Solar Park (Gujarat Solar Park) in 2011, marking a significant achievement in India’s first utility-scale solar park. In 2012, he was a part of team developing the world’s first 1MW Canaltop Solar Power Plant on the Narmada Canal in Mehsana, Gujarat. Continuing his impactful career, Patel was involved in 30MW solar projects in Rajasthan in 2013, demonstrating his ability to manage large-scale projects effectively. In 2014, he led Malaysia’s largest and first airport solar projects at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which included a 4MW rooftop installation on KLIA Terminal 1 Satellite Building, a 10MW Solar Parking Canopy at KLIA Long Term Car Park, and a 5MW ground-mounted installation.

His expertise extends beyond project execution. During 2015-16, Patel conducted pre-sales engineering, feasibility studies, and vendor due diligence for solar projects in India, Philippines and Thailand, ensuring that these projects were viable and sustainable. In 2017, he managed significant solar tracker projects, including 50MW x 3 and 25MW x 1 in Telangana, and 50MW x 2 in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.

Now, at Jupisol Power, Patel leverages this extensive experience to drive the company’s growth and innovation. His proven track record in managing large-scale solar projects and his comprehensive understanding of the industry’s technical and logistical aspects position Jupisol Power as a leader in delivering high-quality solar energy solutions.

This power duo brings extensive experience of 15 Years in design, EPC, and liaison for utility scale solar projects across various states in India and internationally. Their combined efforts have led to significant advancements in the solar industry, emphasizing accessibility, affordability, and cutting-edge technology. Swapneel Patel

Professional Background: 

Swapneel Patel is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the solar energy sector. He began his career with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from C.K. Pithawala College of Engineering & Technology, Surat, India. Swapneel’s career includes significant roles in various leading companies in the solar industry. He worked at SunEdison Semiconductor for over four years in different capacities, including as a Senior Engineer in Design, Design Engineer, and Project Engineer, where he managed and supervised multiple solar projects across India and Malaysia. At SkyPower Global, he served as the Senior Manager of Design & Engineering Analysis for six years, successfully completing several large-scale solar projects in India and handling pre-sales engineering and due diligence for government PPA tenders in South Africa and Uzbekistan.

Education: 

Swapneel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from C.K. Pithawala College of Engineering & Technology, Surat, India.

The company evolved from DSP Solar Technologies, a proprietorship firm established in 2017, to a private limited company in May 2022. Jupisol Power has successfully executed numerous solar projects, including residential and industrial installations, making it one of the top EPC service providers in Gujarat. Notable projects include the commissioning of several ground-mounted solar projects in Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, and rooftop solar installations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Dhvani Patel’s journey into the solar energy sector began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication. She gained valuable industry experience at SunEdison as an Analyst in the Global Indirect Sourcing, Supply Chain & Logistics department in Chennai, where she specialized in Solar Inventory Management. Following this, Dhvani pursued a course in Solar PV Design and Installation, equipping her with the expertise to co-found Jupisol Power India Pvt. Ltd., a company dedicated to providing turnkey EPC services for solar projects across India.

Education: 

Dhvani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication and has completed specialized training in Solar PV Design and Installation.
